Children Ministries!

We are dedicated to teaching and ministering to age 3 through fifth grade children with a desire that our children grow spiritually and come to know Jesus Christ in a real way.

Our teachers specialize in TLC - they are trained, loving and committed.  We maintain a warm, caring and secure environment for our children as they are taught Biblical truths and grow in the knowledge and understanding of God's Word. Here are some of our children's ministries:

Children's Church

Regular Children's Church is offered to 3 year olds through 3rd grade during the worship service each Sunday morning. Children are usually dismissed from the parents to Children's Church after the worship singing, just before the sermon. Bible-based lessons are introduced to the children through age-appropriate stories, games, crafts, and songs.

Nursery

Nursery care is available for infants through age two during both Sunday School and morning worship services. A sign-in and information sheet is available on the bulletin board just outside the door. Volunteers use this as a way to know how to best take care of each child.  BFC also offers childcare for children up through 5th grade during certain special events and meetings.

Sunday School

Sunday school meets at 8:30am before the morning worship service. Classes are offered for ages 3 through high school. All children are taught Bible-based lessons, including a variety of activities, games, songs, and crafts. Students are promoted to the next grade level every June 1^st, typically the first Sunday in June.

Vacation Bible School

VBS is a week long event that is held each summer. It meets each weeknight from 6:15-8:30pm. VBS serves children and youth ages 3 through going into eighth grade. BFC youth who have completed 8th grade are able to join the adults serving as VBS staff. It's an event that no child or parent would want to miss!

Christmas Program

BFC elementary and middle school students perform a Christmas musical each year. During this experience, children learn Christmas songs, actions, and acting skills. Children meet on Sunday afternoons for rehearsals during late October through December. The musical is usually performed the last Wednesday before Christmas in December and is preceded by songs performed by our 2 year olds through kindergarteners. It's the cutest event in town!
